Fast cleaner which removes all types of soiling invading render, walls, floors and roofs
Guard Wash® is a high performance cleaner which completely removes soiling invading the building materials (greasy stains, contamination related moisture, pollution, leaf traces, etc..). Guard Wash® is fast-acting and efficient, it can left on the surface without rinsing. However, rinsing is possible 24h after application to remove residues remaining on the surface.
Guard Wash® is potash-free, hydrochloric and phosphoric acid-free. Guard Wash® does not damage the treated material surface and does not alter its colour. For lasting results, we recommend the use of the appopriate sealer from the Guard Industrie range.
Guard Wash® is recommended for the exterior treatment of walls, roofs, balconies, fountains, monuments, fences, decks, garden stones and paving, awnings, tennis courts... 
It can be applied to all porous building materials such as concrete, natural and artificial stone, terracotta. It is ideal for renders.

Apply with a low pressure spray unit.
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
  • Guard Wash® is ready to use. Do not dilute.
  • Always test on a small hidden portion of the substrate before applying.
  • Spray on dry or slightly damp material until surface is saturated.
Recommendation:
  • Soiling + = 1 layer.
  • Soiling ++ = 2 layers. Time between layers: 1 hour.
  • Soiling +++ = 3 layers. Time between layers: 1 hour.
  • On vertical surfaces, always apply from bottom to top.
  • Rinsing is not required but can be useful if you need to eliminate remaining residues. In case of rinsing, wait for 24H after application and use a high pressure washer.
  • Allow the substrate to perfectly dry before any coating or paint.
  • Physical state at 20°C: Liquid.
  • Colour: Green.
  • Odour: Characteristic.
  • pH: 12,5.
  • Boiling point [°C]: 100°C.
  • Relative density: 1.02 ± 0.01.
  • Solubility in water [vol/vol]: Total.
  • Flashpoint [°C]: Not applicable.
  • VOC: < 1g/l*.
The following values are for guidance only:
  • Soiling +: 6 m2/litre.
  • Soiling ++: 4 m2/litre.
  • Soiling +++: 3 m2/litre.
2, 5, 20 L can.
  • Store in a dry place at a temperature of between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Shelf-life: 18 months from date of manufacture, in original unopened can.
  • For effective results, Guard Wash® must be used when surface temperature is between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Do not apply during periods of extreme heat, rain or risk of rain 8h after application. Ideal temperature range is between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Do not mix or dilute.
  • Avoid spraying the surroundings of the material or surface being treated: risk of alteration.
  • Take care to not spray plants or animal fodder or feed. If plants are accidently sprayed, rinse abundantly with water to reduce damage.

  • Breathing protection: No breathing protection equipment is required under normal use conditions with suitable ventilation.
  • Hand protection: Wear household rubber gloves.
  • Skin protection: No skin protection or special clothing is recommended under normal use conditions.
  • Eye protection: If there is a significant risk of splashes, wear protective goggles.
  • In case of ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or specialist.

Prevention
To prevent future soiling, it is recommended to protect the surface with a protection treatment from the ProtectGuard® or ImperGuard® range.
